What is CryoSkin Slimming?

Cryoskin treatments treat areas of the body by freezing and killing fat cells. Slimming treatments are typically performed on areas of the body such as the arms, stomach, back, and thighs. A typical slimming treatment will start with 2 minutes of heating to the problem area, followed by 12 minutes of freezing, and ends with an additional 2 minutes of heating. These three phases create thermal shock which can naturally help destroy fat cells. Slimming treatments can be performed every 14 days, and should be incorporated into a diet and exercise plan.

What areas of the body can be treated?

Abdomen

Arms

Inner Thighs

Glutes

Outer Thighs

Bra Line

Back

Neck

What is CryoSkin?

Cryolipolysis is used to destroy fat cells directly under the skin’s surface (subcutaneous fat cells) by freezing within the temperature range of +8 to -8 degrees C. The cold treatment causes apoptosis, or cell death, of subcutaneous fat tissues. The killed fat cells will drain through the lymphatic system and then flushed out through the kidneys and urine.

When will I see results?

CryoSkin is designed to treat specific areas of your body, with research showing it can slow the aging process in your skin. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, most clients notice results immediately, but multiple treatments will offer the best outcome.

Is it similar to CoolSculpting?

CryoSkin fat-freezing treatments are faster than CoolSculpting and are more customizable. CryoSkin technicians hold an instrument that gets cold, then they move it around your targeted areas.

What are the major benefits?

The major benefit sought is a large decrease in fat mass which was visualized by CT scans and measured between 15% and 40% according to the subjects tested. On the other hand, it must not be forgotten that the apparatus is not only capable of emitting cold but also of heat and of causing the two to alternate, thus causing “thermal shock”. This method of thermal shock is medically recognized to be particularly restorative for tissues by a significant increase of local microcirculation and collagen.
